Use team, conference, position, country and height feedback to find the daily NBA player, plus tips for the Photo, Silhouette and Trivia rounds.
Conference first, then height
The conference tile halves the league in one guess. Height is the next best filter: a 6'1" guard and a 7'0" centre are in completely different pools. A good opener is a 6'7" forward from a Western Conference team â the arrow on height then points you clearly towards guards or big men.
Country is a powerful clue
Today's NBA is more international than ever. If the country tile is not the USA, the pool shrinks to a handful of names â Serbia, Greece, Slovenia, Cameroon, France and Canada together cover most international stars.
Trades change the answer
Hoopdle uses each player's current team, and we update rosters regularly. If you remember a star on his old team, double-check recent trades before guessing â it is the most common reason for a wrong team tile.
Photo, Silhouette and Trivia
Jersey colours and numbers are the fastest giveaway in Photo. In Silhouette, arm length and shoulder width separate guards from centres. For Trivia, questions focus on records, drafts and championships â reading them twice before answering saves more points than speed.
